AMPLIFIED UNTOLD STORIES AND VOICES.

This year at ComplexCon we introduced Cambodian/Khmer history to new audiences through our ‘Did You Know’ labels on a Limited Edition Made in Long Beach T-shirt. This was in collaboration with United Cambodian Community — a Long Beach based org.

NO TEE LEFT BEHIND.

We continued to develop limited edition 100% upcycled GOODS with trusted voices in sustainabILITY like Rewilder. We are also introducing upcycling techniques across our core collection. Lastly, you can find discounted goods with minor imperfections in our ‘Imperfect’ section on weareuprisers.com

DESTIGMATIZING MENTAL HEALTH.

We continued working with our friends at Changing Tides, an advocacy group for AAPI youth mental health by producing this year’s Ripple Effect: Walk for Suicide Prevention t-shirts. 100% of the proceeds went towards Changing Tides' efforts in suicide prevention and mental health resources! We also recorded 4 podcast episodes with DESIGNERS and mental health advocates at UPRISERS Family Drive. Guests included Yellow Chair Collective, a collective of board certified therapists serving Asian American and multicultural clients.
