Little Tokyo, Bunkado is a legacy small business owned and operated by 3 generations of Japanese women. Founded by her Ba-chan, meaning grandma, Irene Tsukada Simonian is continuing the store's legacy that embodies the very elements of the Little Tokyo community and the timeless generational narrative.
As a woman-owned streetwear brand, UPRISERS core value is to share underrepresented stories and we're honored to partner with Bunkado to amplify their story 💕
