Voices FAQ
WHO IS UPRISERS? WHAT IS UPRISERS VOICES?
At UPRISERS, we stand for celebrating the strengths and unique voices in our community, inspiring others to celebrate one's roots and personal journey of self-discovery. It’s in the UPRISERS DNA in finding these moments that can be conversational starters with anyone who engages with us.
THE VOICES PROGRAM:
Here at UPRISERS, we have been releasing an end of year community survey since 2020 to learn from our current community, what they liked about our campaigns and where we can improve. This has been helpful year after year to really gauge our impact and guide where UPRISERS should be heading in the future. In response to feedback from our community, we launched Voices as a platform for aspiring creators, entrepreneurs, and organizations to amplify their voices, support issues and causes they care about, and do good through art and fashion.
IS VOICES RIGHT FOR US?
This platform is intended to support aspiring creators, entrepreneurs, and organizations latest initiatives and goals — for good. By joining VOICES, UPRISERS is here to help streamline your merchandising campaign without having to manage every step of the way. Our hope is that you can focus on marketing, gain exposure to new audiences, develop your creativity skills, and more — all while supporting a local organization of your choosing.

When will I receive my order?
Each campaign may vary in timing. However, we typically begin production the next Monday following the close of the pre-sale. Meaning, if the pre-sale calendar ends on a Thursday, production begins the following Monday (not including US Holidays). Shipments will begin 2—3 weeks from close of pre-order.
Before ordering, please make note whether your item is in pre-order. These items tend to take at least 2—3 weeks from the day pre-orders close. Orders that are mixed with pre-orders and in-stock items might ship in different shipments. Please remember that the delivery of your order is the responsibility of the shipping carrier (USPS, Fedex, DHL).
Our shipments go out every Tuesday and Thursday of the week. Please allow 2—4 business days, excluding holidays, from purchase to fulfillment process. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an order confirmation email with a tracking #.
Once a package leaves our fulfillment center, you must reach out directly to the shipping carrier selected during checkout to resolve delivery issues.

James and Grace Lee Boggs Foundation
Her life story, dedication to movement organizing, and audacity to chart her own path deeply moved me, and in the process of integrating all I had learned about her and her vision for a more just world, I knew I wanted to write a song in her honor. Coincidentally, my frequent collaborator, producer and educator Chucky Kim, had actually spent an afternoon in her home in Detroit before she passed. Over Zoom we shared underlined passages and our mutual reverence as we built the song that’s out today. In addition, I knew I wanted this song to benefit the movement that she and Jimmy had birthed in Detroit. Thankfully, two women I admire, artist/designer Janelle Quibuyen and Michelle Hanabusa, founder of UPRISERS, were also down for the cause. We are elated to launch the Reimagine Everything Collection, where 50% of all proceeds will benefit the James and Grace Lee Boggs Foundation. The collection, designed by Michelle, includes a vintage tee, enamel pin, oversized five-pocket tote, and art print featuring Janelle’s original illustration. HUGE thanks in advance for any who wish to support the work of the Foundation, which works to advance and sustain the community initiatives founded by Jimmy and Grace in their home of Detroit.
