What it Means this Holiday Season.
The global economy is facing a supply chain crisis due to the pandemic. From zippers to glass, shortages of basic goods hobble the U.S. economy. Covid has created an outstanding demand for “normalcy” while simultaneously leaving global supply chains ravaged and the labor force depleted. In the merchandise industry, many are simply unable to source materials enough to produce items anymore. Cargo ships bringing in goods from other countries, like China, are stuck waiting off the California coast because of shortages in manpower. Here's another article on port congestion. Even Gildan, another staple in the industry, has been experiencing yarn and labor shortages thus unable to produce enough to meet the high demand blanks. This has trickled down across all supply chain and logistics across the board. Shipping costs are also being affected and we are forced to increase our shipping costs for the time being.
We apologize deeply for any delays that may occur. We appreciate your patience and your continued support with us during these times. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
